Hangzhou
West Lake in the city of Hangzhou, 200km west of Shanghai, is apparantly one of the most beautiful places in China. Unfortunately when I was there there was only mist and rain, so I didn’t see much….

New Home
Moved to a new apartment last week! 15 minutes walk from my university, 13th floor, fully furnished, about 70m2,large kitchen, like it very much!

Home
Here some pics of my apartment in Beijing. It is rather small (about 45m2) and old, but the neighbourhood is nice and only 5 minutes from my school. I’ll move to somewhere more upscale in a few months I think, but for now this will do fine.

Dashanzi
Below some pics I took in the 798 complex in Dashanzi, Beijing’s impressive main art district. An old factory complex, it is absolutely a perfect setting for art and it is absolutely huge, with lots of interesting art projects going on.
Some parts of the complex are still being used for industry, creating an interesting contrast.
