Here some pics of my apartment in Beijing. It is rather small (about 45m2) and old, but the neighbourhood is nice and only 5 minutes from my school. I’ll move to somewhere more upscale in a few months I think, but for now this will do fine.

Dashanzi

Below some pics I took in the 798 complex in Dashanzi, Beijing’s impressive main art district. An old factory complex, it is absolutely a perfect setting for art and it is absolutely huge, with lots of interesting art projects going on.

Some parts of the complex are still being used for industry, creating an interesting contrast.

The Forbidden City, Beijing
